We don’t offer exclusive hire of the place at any time sorry. Sometimes in quiet times of the year we can offer semi-exclusive hire for use of part of the bar but most Fridays and Saturdays get booked up with our DJ events several months in advance.

Bookings are not necessary, walk ups are always welcome. If you would like to book you can do so up until 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays or anytime outside of that, drop us an email.

We have many regular nights that have built up over the years but gaps do come up, feel free to email us with as much info as possible, mix links etc. We don’t have a strict music policy, most stuff can work if you get the vibe right but we can’t accommodate heavy dancefloor stuff.

The majority of our events are free entry, occasionally there are ticketed events but they will be in room 2 and the bar will be open to all as usual for everyone.

The only positions we have are part time weekend work, if we are looking currently it will normally be on recent social media posts so have a look there first.

Unfortunately, as the building is very old there are some accessibility issues. The main entrance is at ground level but the toilets are not accessible. There are also some steps into room 2, where there is not enough space for a ramp at the necessary gradient.
If there is a specific event or a time you wish to attend, we can arrange for access to a toilet at another business and work out a way to make it happen.
